London Evening Standard Editor Geordie Greig is leaving the paper to edit the Mail on Sunday.

Current Deputy Editor Sarah Sands is replacing him as Acting Editor from April 1. Chairman Evgeny Lebedev said 'I am very grateful to Geordie for all that he has achieved as Editor over the past three years. The London Evening Standard has never been as popular or as influential as it is today - as its current position as Newspaper of the Year confirms'.
